  • Responsibilities

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    General responsibilities include supporting and collaborating with stakeholders through capital (CAPEX) projects in the form of locating and vetting suppliers, onboarding new suppliers, managing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, negotiating and executing contracts, and monitoring projects for delays and price changes (Change Orders). Stakeholders primarily include Engineering and Supply Chain Centers. Capital projects are primarily equipment purchases and installations, and construction projects of varying size and complexity.

    CAPEX Projects

    Manage lower-dollar CAPEX projects for Indirect Procurement team, with support from Lead Specialist. Collaborate with Engineering COE, Maintenance COE, and Site Team to facilitate RFPs and monitor for delays and Change Orders

    Contract Support

    Manage CAPEX contracts for Indirect Procurement team including coordination/back and forth between Supplier, Risk, and Legal

    Contract Renewal Amendments

    Manage renewal amendments including Supplier/stakeholder negotiation, review, and buy-in, and Ariba routing

    Contract Routing

    Route and monitor contracts through Ariba for reviews, approvals, and signatures based upon Schedule of Authorization

    InfoSec Requests

    Initiate, monitor, and follow up on Information Security requests between company and Supplier

    Vendor Setup Requests

    Work with Vendor Maintenance and Ariba to request Ariba setup for new Suppliers

    NDA’s

    Work with Suppliers to initiate and execute Non-Disclosure Agreements

    Other Tasks As Required

    Support on high-dollar CAPEX projects, PO/Invoicing Issues, follow ups on deliverables from Suppliers or other COE’s, other tasks as required

    QUALIFICATIONS

    · Bachelor’s degree required- preferably in Business, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management,

    · Minimum 3 years’ experience in Procurement

    · Strong oral and written communication skills

    · Ability to develop and manage internal and external relationships

    · Execute, prioritize and drive multiple priorities while maintaining project deadlines and momentum

    · Must have proven ability to pivot, reprioritize and execute independently

    · Strong analytical skills with a methodical, effective approach to problem solving and communicating results to stakeholders

    · Must be a team player

    · Experience using a best-in-class Procurement system such as Ariba is a plus

    · Experience negotiating contracts is a plus
