Team Overview:
The charter of our team is to create and enforce common standards and policies related to the creation and maintenance of customer data in a way that enables a single view of a customer across all CareFusion businesses. Our department consists of customer master data within the CMDM team, removing duplication from our historical data, incorporating the remaining 20% of our customer base into the governance standards and processes, and continuing to improve the efficiency of the current process.

Job Description:
This position will responsible for creating and maintaining accounts in ERP systems and the Customer MDM tool in accordance with the policies, procedures and guidelines established by the Data Stewardship Committee. This position will need to acquire an understanding of the processes and systems related to customer data within each business unit and understand how the data is utilized throughout the organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
Create customer and prospect accounts.
Process change requests to customer and prospect accounts.
Respond to questions and requests and fix issues related to customer and prospect account setup.
Provide support on projects involving customer and prospect accounts including data cleanup.
Provide subject matter expertise on new account creation and change processes.
Meet daily operating requirements for account maintenance, Tracings processing, and Customer MDM processing
Adhere to MDM data governance standards.
Limit duplication of accounts by following MDM steps prior to account creation
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience desired
2-4 years professional experience required - experience in health care industry is desired
Previous experience with customer service, order management, or master data is desired
Expectations of Role:
Analytical thinking: able to understand basic business problems and develop conclusions, identify implications of proposed solutions, and seek guidance from senior staff as needed.
Customer service experience understands who internal and external customers are and strives to meet customer needs, and communicate effectively to meet service level expectations.
Operational excellence: Performs duties efficiently, considering resource utilization. Identifies and recommends improvements related to own work flow. Demonstrates attention to detail and reviews work to ensure compliance with data quality standards.
Results Measurement and Commitment: compares current performance to service level expectations and takes steps to address any disparities.
Personal Courage: accountable for their own actions, makes decisions based on what is best for the company not based on personal preference
Change Leadership: Maintain a positive outlook and adapt to fluid situations as the vision and business needs of CareFusion change.
