JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Sr. Advisor, Workplace Accommodations, is responsible for case management of workplace accommodations. Role provides workplace accommodation guidance to managers, associates, and third-party vendors. The role reports into the Sr. Manager, Employee Relations, AccessHR Center of Excellence function, within HR. JOB DESCRIPTION In partnership with Sr. Manager, AccessHR, coordinates, reviews and administers workplace accommodations cases within AccessHR, while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Comply with applicable laws and regulations relative to assigned area of responsibility, making recommendations based on findings. Serves as the primary contact to business on leave and disability cases, including responding to questions from associates and managers regarding workplace accommodation requests, including leave as an accommodation. Facilitates and participates in the interactive process to identify and assess options for providing reasonable accommodations to eligible associates in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and other disability laws. Consults and advises managers regarding undue hardship and business continuity. Document all the phases of interactive process and reasonable accommodation decisions utilizing approved templates and CMS. Partners with the compliance and employment law group, to respond to inquiries from public and governmental agencies on district-wide compliance and accommodation issues. Liaison with third party vendor and ASC Total Rewards Team leave and disability leave related accommodations. Engage with talent acquisition and applicants to facilitate the interactive process and assess reasonable accommodations related to the recruitment process. Engage with talent acquisition and associates to conduct vacant job search or temporary reassignments as part of the accommodation process. STAFFING Works closely with associates, managers, Occupational Health Nurses/Environmental Health and Safety Engineers, Risk Management, Employment Law Group, Compliance group, and Leave Third Party Vendors to ensure workplace accommodation case compliance. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Skills, Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Human Resources or Management.
• Experienced Human Resources or Employee Relations professional.
• Minimum of 5+ years of cumulative direct ADA experience.
• Strong communication skills required. Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationship building with stakeholders, internal and external customers.
• Ability to produce results within established time parameters. Proven excellence in using persuasion and negotiation skills with strong creativity and problem-solving skills.
• Critical thinking skills and ability to exercise sound judgment based on policies, procedures, practices, risk factors and precedent.
• Experience with disability management, leave management, workers compensation administration, clinical and/or vocational rehabilitation.
• Knowledge of legal issues pertaining to disability and absence management, specifically FMLA, ADA, and state leave laws.
