Program Objective/Scope:

The BD Medication Management Solutions (MMS) division proudly offers a Virtual Summer Internship Program for graduate and undergraduate students. Through this program, the student will have the chance to gain real-world experience in creating innovative learning solutions, eLearning, and training curriculum to enhance product education for our high-tech medication management solutions. Under the guidance and direction of the Education Services Manager, the successful candidate will leverage and further develop their skills with instructional design and eLearning authoring tools to plan, design, create, and maintain eLearning, technical training videos, and technical documentation.

Key responsibilities:

Instructional Design and eLearning Development

• Designs, develops and delivers/implements innovative and creative learning solutions (web-based training, technical training videos, job aids, guides, etc.) applying a variety of methods and eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360/Storyline experience is required).

• Assesses learning and performance needs to craft effective and efficient plans for performance solutions and services that address business-specific requirements and constraints.

• Develop and deliver learning and performance solutions and services for a wide range of audiences and cultures

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Senior or a rising senior (current junior) pursuing a Masters degree with a preferred concentration in Education, Adult Learning, Instructional Design, eLearning Design or Educational Technology, or related field

• Foundational knowledge of eLearning (web-based training modules), technical training videos (script writing, production and video editing), documentation, presentations and other training materials maintained in a Learning Management System (LMS)

• Entry-level experience with Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Captivate, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other learning authoring tools

• Ability to quickly learn new products, applications and systems; responds positively to complexity and change

• Confident and driven by results; consultative orientation, strong people and process/project management capability

• Outstanding communicator possessing superior written/verbal communication skills; ability to present views in a clear and compelling manner

• Teammate with superior communication skills and a positive attitude

• The candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without limitations and require no sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B status)

There are many factors, such as location, that contribute to the range displayed. The salary offered to a successful candidate is based on experience, education, skills, and actual work location. Salary ranges may vary for Field-based and Remote roles.
