PROGRAM OBJECTIVE/SCOPE:

The virtual summer intern with the Integrated Solutions and Shared Support division of Global Customer Service (GCS) will update and standardize documentation associated with the implementation scalability initiative critical to the business performance goals of GCS and Integrated Solutions and Shared Support.

The BD Medication Management Solutions (MMS) division proudly offers a Virtual Summer Internship Program for undergraduatestudents. Through this program, the student will have the chance to gain real-world experience in project management, communication, and business acumen.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT PROJECT MANAGEMENT INTERN within BD Global Customer Services, you will have the opportunity to work with the global Integrated Solutions & Performance Excellence team and their leadership.

This internship can be located in San Diego, CA or Remote.

In this role, the intern will:

• Update and standardize tools and documentation for onsite product onboarding and implementation.
• Interface with internal stakeholders to ensure proper governance and operational tactics are enacted.
• Participate in operational excellence activities such as feedback collection and assessment that support continuous improvement
• Champion and manage special projects thorough planning and organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED:

• Rising sophomore, rising junior, or rising senior (graduation dates of December 2022, June 2023, December 2023, or June 2024) pursuing a Bachelors degree
• Pursuing a degree in Business, Data Analytics, Project Management, Operations, Continuous Improvement, or related major.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OneNote
• The candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without limitations and require no sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B status)
• The candidate is responsible for all housing and transportation costs.

• Excellent at written and verbal communication
• Intellectual curiosity and highly self-motivated
• Excited by working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Ability to approach the role with a can-do, team-player attitude
• Prior internship/co-op experience
• Ability to work well on a team
