With our technical capabilities, the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) team are able to manage multiple systems and our operational capabilities enable us to have medications available when and where needed, reducing inefficiency and waste for nursing and pharmacy teams.

    The summer internship program within Global Customer Service (GCS) at BD provides the student with an opportunity to partner with peers, senior personnel, and supervisors who will provide informal mentoring and coaching towards success. Students will have the opportunity to be exposed to Global Support Operations and Customer Experience. Selected students may work within cross-functional or interdisciplinary teams and may have multiple internal partners and customers.

    PROGRAM OBJECTIVE/SCOPE:

    The BD Medication Management Solutions (MMS) division proudly offers a summer internship program Through this program, the student will have the chance to gain real-world experience in technical writing, project documentation, and Salesforce reports and dashboards. The MMS FIELD SERVICE INTERN will have the opportunity to work with the Customer Support Field Service team. This internship opportunity is REMOTE or can be based in San Diego, CA or San Antonio, TX.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Obtain necessary information for document content by conducting independent research and by meeting with subject matter experts (SMEs) and other stakeholders.
    • Gather, analyze, and compose technical information for a variety of documents including policies, processes, procedures, and knowledge base articles
    • Help create documentation schedules, including review and sign-off dates, and track work to meet dates.
    • Format, edit, and perform quality assurance on your own work and the work of others.
    • Receive text from technical staff and rewrite documentation in a clear and concise style.
    • Apply editorial and visual standards for documents.
    • Collaborate with Senior Field Managers, Operations Project Manager, and other associates.
    • Create and organize Salesforce reports and dashboards
    • Complete all other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS

    REQUIRED:

    • In pursuit of a Business, Management, Data Analytics, Communications, or related major
    • Experience using Microsoft suite of products
    • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management platforms, such as, Salesforce

    PREFERRED:

    • Previous internship experience preferred but not required.
    • Ability to quickly learn, dissect and support on an initiative in an iterative, fast paced environment
    • Demonstrated agility and ability to quickly pivot and flex
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, listening, and interpersonal skills
    • Strong ability to visualize data to multiple audiences of the organization
    • High attention to detail while multi-tasking on complex deliverables
    • Ability to quickly establish rapport with remote internal and external stakeholders
    • Act as a key contributor in a complex environment
    • Excellent Verbal, Written and Communication Skills
