With our technical capabilities, the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) team are able to manage multiple systems and our operational capabilities enable us to have medications available when and where needed, reducing inefficiency and waste for nursing and pharmacy teams.

The summer internship program within Global Customer Service (GCS) at BD provides the student with an opportunity to partner with peers, senior personnel, and supervisors who will provide informal mentoring and coaching towards success. Students will have the opportunity to be exposed to Global Support Operations and Customer Experience. Selected students may work within cross-functional or interdisciplinary teams and may have multiple internal partners and customers.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVE/SCOPE:

The BD Medication Management Solutions (MMS) division proudly offers a Summer Internship Program.

THIS INTERNSHIP ROLE CAN BE BASED IN SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA OR REMOTE.

Through this program, the student will have the chance to gain real-world experience in the following areas:

• Business intelligence systems and tools
• Business acumen and corporate knowledge
• Cross-functional collaboration
• Understanding of a large, matrix organization
• Project management principles
• Healthcare systems and process improvement

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support development of marketing collateral and value propositions for service offerings
• Evaluate service offerings included in contracts, consult with leadership as needed.
• Create customer-facing deliverables in a clear, concise manner
• Interpret data to make strategic decisions
• Incorporate marketing analytics to make key decisions for stakeholders.
• Strategize on new ideas for service offerings

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED:

• Rising sophomore, rising junior, or rising senior (graduation dates of December 2022, June 2023, December 2023, or June 2024) pursuing a Bachelor's degree
• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Corporate Communications, Business Administration, Operations, Project Management, or other related major
• The candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without limitations and require no sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B status)

PREFERRED:

• Marketing experience and interest in medical devices is a plus.
• Project Management certification is a plus
