Summary:

Clinical Operations Project Management is responsible for leading all aspects of implementation and service projects for the Dispensing organization. The Project Manager collaborates with customers and leads implementation project teams on planning, scheduling, and execution of all deliverables within the scope of the project or program. Additionally, Project Managers manage all aspects of the financial backlog to meet revenue delivery goals and are ultimately responsible for the outcome of each project. Home-based position with travel.

Overall responsibilities:

The overall responsibilities of the Project Manager within the Care Continuum team include:

• Lead, facilitate, coordinate, and track day-to- day activities required to ensure the project is completed on time, successfully, and in a manner consistent with organizational goals, departmental policies, established processes, and/or the standard terms and conditions of the contract

• Creation and use of project plans for assigned projects, which include clear milestones and assignment of project task responsibilities

• Successfully handle the scope of the project, including customer priorities

• Demonstrate a proactive approach to identify risks to project success; develop effective action plans for resolution

• Appropriately manage / escalate project issues or risks

• Manage customer expectations of product and services

• Provide leadership and direction for customers and BD project team

• Demonstrate effective communication skills, verbal and written, with customers, project teams and leadership

• Accurately forecasting current and future quarter revenue for each assigned projects

Project Manager, Care Continuum - Dispensing Professional Services Position Description

• Understands customer medication management workflow and is able to consult on best use of BD products

• Use of all governance tools (scope document, project status reports, risk and change logs, tollgates, etc.), for all assigned projects, to effectively manage all projects

• Compliant with forecasting and backlog management processes

• Demonstrates effective communication and engagement with customer

Skills, Duties and Tasks particular to the job:

To meet the expectations of this role, the candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• Demonstrate knowledge of industry-recognized project management methodologies

• Possess healthcare project management experience and demonstrate thorough knowledge and understanding of management methodologies and relevant clinical and IT operations

• Ability to manage complex and multi-faceted customer issues and relationships

• Results Orientation - leads team to achieve project goals in an effective manner

• Remain compliant with the financial backlog process and deliver on monthly and quarterly revenue goals

• Ability to align with internal teams (i.e., Service and Implementation, R&D, Sales, Finance, Platform)

Project Manager, Care Continuum - Dispensing Professional Services Position Description

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required or 3 years equivalent experience

• Project management or leadership experience required

• Specific knowledge of BD business highly desired

• Prefer experience implementing and supporting healthcare IT software solutions, experience with capital equipment model is a plus

• Prefer experience with asset revenue management and forecasting on a rolling quarterly basis

• Specific knowledge of BD Medical Systems business or products highly desired

• Prefer knowledge of hospital systems and procedures that integrate with BD products

• Driving requirements dictate that the candidate possess and maintain a valid driver license and be at least 21 years old.

• Home based position with travel. Travel may range from 25 - 40%, overnight travel. Position requires flexible working hours, including some nights and weekends. Ability to work independently from home office
