Opportunities Available
As a Clinical intern at Stryker, you will:
Provide general support to the Clinical Operations team on a variety of ongoing projects.
Assist with basic day-to-day tasks to help the team work more efficiently.
Gain introductory experience in the clinical research field and learn foundational skills for supporting clinical projects.
Work with different departments, such as R&D Engineering, Health Economics, Reimbursement & Market Access, Marketing, and Regulatory Affairs, to learn about clinical research programs and the regulated research environment.
Help with organizing documents, tracking study activities, and maintaining clinical files as needed.
Support the preparation of literature review summaries under supervision to learn about current clinical outcomes from recent published trials.
Majors Targeted: Biology; Biomedical Engineering; Clinical Affairs; Health Sciences; Public Health; Chemistry; Biochemistry; Nursing; Statistics; Pharmaceutical Sciences
What You Need
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in health sciences, medical, or a related field, and will remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer
Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above (to be verified at the date of hire during the spring background check)
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.; no need for employment-based sponsorship now or in the future
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal abilities, leadership, and business acumen
Able to exercise independent judgment, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities with enthusiasm
Demonstrated organizational, problem-solving, attention to detail, and analytical skills
Skilled at managing priorities and workflow
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.
