We are seeking a dynamic Communications Specialist to join Stryker’s Corporate Communications team. This role is primarily focused on supporting global employee communications. What you will do:

• Assist in the development and execution of Stryker’s global employee communications editorial strategy and plan.
• Collaborate with teams across functions, regions, and commercial divisions to identify story ideas that support global editorial content pillars.
• Research, write and edit compelling content for employees in alignment with global editorial pillars.
• Provide strategic counsel to ensure the right messages are delivered through the right channels, at the right time, and to the right audiences.
• Publish and maintain content across Stryker’s global communications channels, including company intranet, internal social media, newsletters, email, digital TV displays, etc.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate new technologies to enhance communication effectiveness.
• Aid in the development and execution of strategic communications plans.
• Manage additional company-level information and materials.
• Support special projects as needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences through a variety of platforms (1-2 years’ experience preferred in internal communications or related role).
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with keen eye for detail (writing samples will be requested, knowledge of AP Style a plus).  
• Familiarity with communication tools and platforms a plus (SharePoint, Viva Engage, Marketo or other email marketing tools, etc.)
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office 365 applications.

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree required. 
• 0+ years of work experience required. 
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field preferred.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with eye for detail (writing samples will be requested, knowledge of AP Style a plus).

Travel Percentage: 10%
