Summary of Position
Reporting to the Senior Manager- Quality Engineering and Quality Systems (Central Quality) , the Quality Assurance Specialist I is accountable for supporting the central quality strategy and global quality initiatives.
The Document Control Coordinator position works with the Central Quality Document Control Team to perform document control activities that maintain and improve the global quality management system.
Primary Responsibilities
Coordinating translations for global processes and documents
Maintaining translation certificates and building multi language documents
Reviewing global documents to ensure compliance to style guides and performing technical writing updates
Assisting with the writing of global documents and transferring content into global document templates
Performing doc control system activities required for document release (DIR creation, document release, administrative document changes)
Uploading documents into global SharePoint
Capturing notes during global change control review board meeting
Maintaining the global process and document change parking lot
Performing required activities to support the document control team with document control processes
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Document Management System (DMS) experience preferred
1 year work experience in Quality organization of a Medical Device and/or pharmaceutical company preferred
Knowledge and Skills
Effective time management and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong analytical skills
Experience writing or reviewing quality management system documentation preferred
