    *This is a hybrid position and will be on-site at our Stryker office Monday through Wednesday

    As a Financial Analyst for Stryker Medical, you will analyze and forecast financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions.

    What You Wil Do

    • Responsible for gathering information through various sources and preparing financial analyses regarding the business, operations, efficiencies, etc. Communicates analysis to influence needed business changes to improve financial position.
    • Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information and economic indicators so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making strategic and operational decisions on, for example, acquisitions, investments, capital expenditure, divestitures, mergers, or the sale of assets.
    • Analyze the financial implications of proposed investments or other transactions so that senior managers can evaluate alternatives against the organization's business objectives.
    • Evaluate industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization's short, medium and long-term financial and competitive position.
    • Data analyzed may include revenues, expenses, costs, prices, investments, cash flow, profits, labor market trends, inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates.
    • Responsible for month-end close activities, such as journal entries and business unit reporting. Ensuring that all reported data are accurate and on time.
    • Prepare forecasts/budgets and present to Senior Manager level employees.
    • Works closely with internal customers cross functionally (Field Service, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, etc).  Focuses on customer satisfaction by providing positive leadership, teamwork and empowerment to solve problems in a consultative approach while operating with honesty and integrity to provide highly responsive and timely results for the customer.
    • Continually improves the quality of financial information through ever improving timeliness, accuracy, clarity, and transparency.
    • Ensures proper accounting control procedures and systems are in place.
    • Ensures compliance with established Regulatory, Quality, Legal, Corporate, Human Resources policies and procedures.

    What You Need

    • Bachelors degree in Finance or related major required.
    • Experience in MS Excel
    • Ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders

    Travel Percentage: 10%
