    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Perform a Background Study on Emerging and Futuristic Technologies that may impact the MedTech industry over the next 15years. Examples should include Robotics, 3D Printing, Digital, Gene Therapy, Tissue Engineering, and others.
    • Prioritize the likelihood and impact of these technologies.
    • Perform a landscape analysis using tools such as PEST to assess external influences including but not limited to:
      • Sustainability and Climate action
      • Geopolitical trends
      • Development of widespread emerging economies
      • Global STEM and R&D investment trends
      • Ever-increasing pace of Innovation and Technology development
    • With this input, compile a means of engagement with Stryker Executives.
    • Compile an analysis of the impact of Technology trends on Stryker’s strategy (2020 – 2035)
    • Compile a list of recommendations to disseminate to Stryker Executives.

    WHAT YOU NEED

    • Currently working on completion of Master's degree in related field or equivalent; we will only consider students who plan be enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer
    • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above; must be the case at the date of hire and also will be verified during background check in the spring
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
    • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
    • Ability to exercise independent judgment
    • Proficient on basic computer programs: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
    • Proven leadership and business acumen skills
    • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Interest or prior knowledge in
      • Analytics, Statistics
      • Machine Learning
      • Optimization
      • Operations Research
      • Probabilistic Modeling
      • Computer Science

    This position requires knowledge that is acquired through experience, specialized education, or training. The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making. Technical knowledge required is limited to the tasks performed in own discipline area and is considered basic. The tasks are generally routine and manual. The job is expected to follow detailed and defined rules / instructions and to make simple judgement in straightforward situations. Typically requires selecting between solutions already established. This job typically requires no experience.
