    JOB DESCRIPTION

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • The Co-Op Student will be an active member of the EHS Department & sites EHS Committee.

    • Manage an EHS project for duration of placement with support from the EHS Department.

    • Monitor and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).

    • Issue KPI reports to EHS Manager on a daily/weekly basis.

    • Partake in Incident Investigations, practical problem solving, Root cause analysis and internal audits.

    • Support the EHS department in document management and regulatory compliance requirements.

    • Support the EHS department in employee EHS engagement activities.

    • As a student, effectively adapts to practically working in a workplace by being dependable, reliable, punctual, self-motivated, hardworking, organized and a team-player.

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

    • Currently completing a college qualification in an Environmental, Health and Safety

    • Honesty and Integrity essential. Must comply with the quality system, regulations, and company policies

    • Self-motivated, flexible, and hardworking. Enjoys working in a dynamic, fast and results orientated environment

    • Reliable, dependable, and punctual

    • Organized, focused, and capable of multi-tasking

    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Good verbal and written communication skills

    • Basic level of PC skills required

    • Is a team player and capable of working as part of a multi-disciplined team
