    Analyze, administer, and implement programs to establish and maintain quality standards of existing products and services, as well as developing programs to focus employees on quality improvement. Develops policies, procedures and methods to check product, material, components and/or operational quality and improve same. Develops policies, procedures and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations. Develops, assures and maintains the quality of products and processes, including standard procedures (e.g., ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000 family of standards), quality audits/review, Taguchi methods, process reengineering, etc.

    • Responsible for administering and maintaining the training assignment by dispositioning requests and assisting SMEs with training requests.

    • Responsible for training plans and tasks in onePLM

    • Assist in the analysis, implementation, and evaluation for specific learning programs.

    • Responds with a high level of customer service to training questions and requests.

    • Build proficiency in the utilization of the learning analytics tool to analyze the effectiveness of training programs.  Assist in the reporting of metrics and scorecard dashboards.

    • Assist in SLMS related tasks by providing support to Learning Advisors, Process Owners and managers with user group and curricula assignments.

    • Provide support during audits, internal and external.

    • Assist in the organization wide annual learning needs analysis process.

    • Works with managers to ensure that employees receive appropriate and required assignments in accordance with quality system regulations.  This includes ongoing establishment and evaluation of curricula and user groups in our learning management system (LMS) and onboarding plans as appropriate. 

    • Assist in the creation and maintenance of competency based training.

    • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

    OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE

    As a Regulatory intern at Stryker, you will:

    • Work cross functionally with different departments including R&D Engineering, Supplier Quality, Marketing, and Clinical Affairs to assist in regulatory decision-making and develop a broad understanding of the medical device industry. 

    • Perform Regulatory Intelligence activities to ensure divisional regulatory strategy remains optimally efficient amidst changing regulations and increasing liability. 

    • Prepare various regulatory submissions for registering products globally to ensure Stryker products can reach our patients around the world. 

    • Shadow RA Specialists at new product development meetings to gain exposure to the collaborative design and development process associated with bringing a new product to market.​

    • Support the Post Market Regulatory Reporting team on projects and initiatives that allow the organization to monitor the performance of devices that have been released to market and detect any potential safety and/or product quality issues.

    • Help develop robust Regulatory assessments and strategy for proposed change notifications in different regions to ensure minimal disruption to registrations or approvals.

    WHAT YOU NEED

    • Currently working on completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field or equivalent; we will only consider students who plan be enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer

    • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above; must be the case at the date of hire and also will be verified during background check in the spring

    • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employment-based sponsorship now or in the future.

    •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow

    • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

    • Ability to exercise independent judgment

    • Proficient on basic computer programs: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint

    • Proven leadership and business acumen skills

    • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

    • Strong interpersonal skills
