    AS A PROJECT ASSOCIATE INTERN AT STRYKER YOU WILL:

    • Track and visualize the progress of project deliverables, key performance indicators and quantify any variances

    • Assist in project planning, organization, and scheduling of meetings

    • Execute the tasks as defined in the project plan in order to achieve the project goals

    • Coordinate with team for work assignment and clarification as needed

    • Identify issues in a timely fashion that arise during project execution

    • Record detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders in order to establish the project deliverables

    • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with and assisting project/department team members

    • Passion to meet project goals and multiple objectives to improve project results

    • Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills

    • Excellent autonomous organization skills

    • Ability to generate and explain detailed schedules

    • Demonstrated problem-solving and work prioritization skills

    • Familiar with project management tools such as Project Portfolio Management system, MS Office, SharePoint, or Visio

    Majors Targeted

    Business Management; Supply chain management; Project Management; Marketing

    WHAT YOU NEED

    • Currently working on completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field or equivalent; we will only consider students who plan be enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer

    • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above; must be the case at the date of hire and also will be verified during background check in the spring

    • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employment-based sponsorship now or in the future. 

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow

    • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

    • Ability to exercise independent judgment

    • Proficient on basic computer programs: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint

    • Proven leadership and business acumen skills

    • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

    • Strong interpersonal skills
