Position summary:
This fast-paced multifaceted position will work directly with Sales while collaborating cross departmentally to directly sell (virtually) to targeted accounts and clinicians for maximum impact and sales growth.
This position will be trained in account management, product and clinical competencies and spend coordinated time with Sales Training, Customer1, National Accounts, and Marketing to develop an actionable selling strategy.
This role will promote the Stryker “culture” and help maintain strong communication throughout the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sales Intern will be integrally involved in the following:
SALES (INSIDE)
Work closely with the inside sales leadership team to create a sales strategy to drive impact into targeted accounts
Sell virtually into designated target accounts
Collaborate and communicate with peers (inside & outside sales)
Support and execute virtual implementations with the Inside Sales region
ACCOUNT IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT
SALES TRAINING & ENABLEMENT
Attend sales training boot camp to learn clinical and product competencies and the Sage sales offense
Support major virtual sales training initiatives as necessary
CUSTOMER1
MARKETING
NATIONAL ACCOUNTS
CUSTOMER SERVICE
PRESENTATION SUPPORT & DEVELOPMENT
Learn to proficiently navigate virtual platforms to communicate with internal and external customers
Prepare and present an end of intern showcase presentation highlighting key indicators
EDUCATION & SPECIAL TRAININGS:
Current college/university enrollment in good academic standing
Sales Certificate or similar coursework
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Drive to win, eagerness to learn, desire to grow, patient centric
Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis in PowerPoint and Excel.
