    DESCRIPTION

    We are looking for a motivated scientist to join the Scientific Operation team the Integrated Diagnostic System, a business segment of Becton Dickinson company. Our team is responsible for the scientific and technical support of manufacturing operations of reagents used for the diagnostic of cervical cancer and for identifying microbiological infections. We are looking for a candidate with growth mindset comfortable working with cross-functional teams to support day to day operations and longer-term projects.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Proficiency in a broad range of basic laboratory techniques, including, microbiology and aseptic technics, pH, spectrophotometry, other analytical methods, and precise formulation of reagents.
    • Able to design and execute experiments, collect, and analyze data to demonstrate feasibility necessary to support a change.
    • Troubleshoots and investigates quality and process issues within the manufacturing or the laboratory and coordinates with appropriate teams to resolve issues and prevent reoccurrence.
    • Authors different type of protocols/Reports or SOP and coordinates review/ approval process: comfortable seeking feedback discuss and resolve discrepancies.
    • Executes a protocol per procedure and reports data using GDP principles.
    • Capable of conducting literature research, gather information from subject matter experts or other sources, and work within cross functional teams to investigate an issue and propose action plans.
    • Provides technical information and support training for process-related matters within production or the laboratory to achieve consistent execution of tasks.
    • Agile and self- motivated with demonstrated ability to prioritize and maintaining constant alignment with projects teams and stakeholders.
    • Able to plan projects with moderate complexity and execute with minimum supervision.

    EDUCATION AND SKILLS:

    • B.S. in Microbiology or sciences
    • Minimum of 4 years of working experience in a laboratory, manufacturing or quality role in Life Sciences, biotechnology, or related industries.
    • Experience working under GMP, regulated industries by FDA. or/and ISO 13485 is desirable.
    • Proficient with MS Office suite is necessary, knowledge of data analysis and use of data analysis software like Minitab would be advantageous.
