Evoke Neuroscience is a medical neuroscience company dedicated to solving the current gap in comprehensive brain assessments and training solutions. We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team at our office in the Flatiron District in NYC!

• You will be working full-time and on-site with a small team of software engineers to develop and support Evoke's fast-growing flagship product – the eVox™ System – and its associated data analysis and reporting services.
• Your work will include building secure web services, improving our client-facing web application, and building new applications and services around our HIPAA-compliant data storage API.
• You will work on a number of projects up and down the stack, will participate in all aspects of the software development process, and assist in client technical support.
• You will work closely with the entire Engineering team, and will report directly to the Director of Engineering.

• You have 1 or more years of experience as a professional Software Engineer
• You are fluent in at least one of the following object-oriented languages: Java, Python, C++ or C#
• You have a strong background in object-oriented design
• You have earned at least a BS in computer science or equivalent experience

Bonus points for:

• Familiarity with web security protocols, including HTTPS, SSL and OAuth2
• Experience building and using RESTful web services
• Experience working in an Agile work environment
• Experience with an enterprise Java framework such as Java EE or Spring
• Fluency with at least one MV* full-stack framework
• Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., medical, aerospace)
• Experience gathering and analyzing EEG, ERP, and ECG data, including signal processing algorithms
