    ENGINEERING INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES:

    RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

    • R&D Engineering interns work on the front lines developing and creating our next generation of products. Interns in this role are directly involved in multiple facets of the product development lifecycle.  Key activities include prototype conceptualization and fabrication, development of test methods, test method validation, test execution and verification, managing production sample creation for verification or validation studies, and product launch.

    ELECTRICAL AND SOFTWARE

    • Electrical and software engineers will work with teams to develop critical-to-business solutions that unlock medical devices for reprocessing and help to protect Stryker’s reprocessed devices when used in the field.  In this role, you will partner with subject matter experts to develop hardware and software solutions for probing, understanding, reverse-engineering, and developing unique OEM software solutions, including creating prototypes, testing and verifying efficacy, and preparing solutions for deployment to production.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Currently working on completion of Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent
    • 3.0 GPA or above
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employment-based sponsorship now or in the future. 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
    • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
    • Ability to exercise independent judgment
    • Proficient on basic computer programs: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
    • Proven leadership and business acumen skills
    • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
