    POSITION SUMMARY/GENERAL PURPOSE:

    Great opportunity for someone who possesses an acute sense of urgency, attention to detail, and basic analytical skills with a customer service orientation.  This role provides a unique opportunity to work cross divisionally and build relationships with both internal and external customers. 

    The Contract Analyst is responsible for administering Group Purchasing Org (GPO) and Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) contracts within various cross divisional system, reviewing price discrepancies, and the processing price activations relative to these contracts as well as responsibility for GPO and IDN membership across all MedSurg customers.

    Contract Analyst will process MedSurg LOC’s (Letters of Commitment), GPO changes, and price application as well as answer any questions relative to membership or GPO pricing eligibility.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Maintain GPO membership rosters and implement a structured process for internally auditing all major GPO rosters and IDN rosters against Stryker’s coding and routinely validate and update on a pre-determined schedule

    • Provide analysis of customer information to include sales as needed by our internal customers to evaluate LOC requests from external customers

    • Support contract audit request with documentation and pricing eligibility data to support the GPO

    • Manage membership projects related to system implementations and LOC process improvement

    • Manage GPO designation changes, GPO membership inquiries, and processing of price activations

    • Manage the inflow of customer-initiated member designation in all forms: MDF, LOC, faxed, electronic, etc.

    • Assist in the administration of GPO and IDN contracts to include maintaining pricing in revenue management systems, ERP systems, documentation, and reporting

    • Report metrics weekly and monthly on membership coding changes

    • Generate and submit periodic reports regarding responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

    • Practice all daily tasks as noted above with an awareness of the ongoing process of pricing integrity and support those initiatives

    • Assist in problem solving relative to pricing, eligibility, or membership issues

    • Work with a diverse business community to document as-is and to-be business processes.

    What You Need

    • Currently working on completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field or equivalent; we will only consider students who plan be enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer.

    • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above; must be the case at the date of hire and also will be verified during background check in the spring.

    • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employment-based sponsorship now or in the future.
