    Opportunities Available

    The Technical Solution Analyst in IT for the R&D and RAQA domain area and is responsible for design, configuration and testing activities for a specific platform team and/or corresponding set of applications with training and coaching provided.  Additionally, the candidate will be involved for the delivery of approved projects through the project management framework. The Technical Solution Analyst needs to be able to produce detailed technical documents, configure and/or develop within the assigned applications and understand the overall design and architecture of a platform, and deliver the end to end technical solution.

    • Perform activities following Stryker’s Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework and processes
    • Technical Design, Development, Testing and Delivery of solutions for Release Cycles and/or new projects within a Shared Service Platform / application stack under mentorship and coaching
    • Identify opportunities to improve the systems process flow, performance and technical efficiencies.
    • These responsibilities will be distributed across Projects, Release Cycles and Operations / Support.
    • Produce technical documents, configure and/or develop within assigned applications and understand the overall design/architecture of a platform. 
    • Communication within IS teams is critical for both day-to-day events and building out new solutions.
    • Be able to support the business and recommend/provide holistic solutions that integrate the existing technical standards with the business needs and processes
    • Recommend approaches to optimize/tune systems performance.
    • Create both system and technical documentation. 
    • Work with other IS teams along with business teams to deliver business solutions
    • Partner with Business Analysts in understanding system requirements and translating into solutions within an application and/or application stack
    • Guides and mentors other Solution Analysts
    • Financial focus on delivering activities on budget, leveraging time on value-driven activities and ensuring external resources meet contractual deliverables.
    • Special projects/assignments as required.

    What You Need

    • Currently working on completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field or equivalent; we will only consider students who plan to be enrolled in a degree-seeking program with at least one full semester of classes upon completion of the internship. ​
    • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above; must be the case at the date of hire and also will be verified during background check in the spring​
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employment-based sponsorship now or in the future.​ - Excellent written and verbal communication skills​
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow​
    • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm​
    • Ability to exercise independent judgment​
    • Basic understanding of computer networking technology​
    • Experience with process mapping​
    • Proven leadership and business acumen skills​
    • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines​
    • Strong interpersonal skills
