Opportunities Available

AS A SOCIAL IMPACT INTERN AT STRYKER, YOU MAY SUPPORT THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS:

 SOCIAL IMPACT COMMUNICATIONS

• Assist in the creation, implementation and execution of our company-level Social Impact communication plan

• Liaise with internal and external entities to develop communications collateral

IMPACT, OUR GIVING AND VOLUNTEERING PLATFORM

• Assist in creation of content that engages employees in giving and volunteering

• BRING CREATIVE PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATION IDEAS TO THE TABLE, HELPING TO ENGAGE EMPLOYEES FURTHER INTO THE PLATFORM

SIGNATURE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM, OPERATION SMILE

• Network with internal Operation Smile Ambassadors and support them in fundraising efforts, while driving the Ambassador program forward

• Use creative thinking skills to develop and execute the Operation Smile mission project plan

SOCIAL IMPACT GLOBAL NETWORK

• Support project management of company-level Social Impact team

• Bring creative ideas to the table, helping to keep Impact partners around the globe engaged and excited about the network

WHAT YOU NEED

•  Currently working on completion of Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent; we will only consider students who plan be enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer 

• Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above; must be the case at the date of hire and also will be verified during background check in the spring

• Must be permanent resident of the U.S. or U.S. citizen

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow

• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

• Ability to exercise independent judgment

• Proficient with Microsoft Office software

• Proven leadership and business acumen skills

• Proven skillset in data management and/or high attention detail

• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Strong interpersonal skills 

• Driven while in a virtual environment
