    DIVERSITY EQUITY & INCLUSION INTERN OR VOLUNTEER

    Diversity Equity & Inclusion Social Media/ Marketing Interns/ Volunteers will gain valuable experience managing content and offering consistent communication via our social media accounts. This is an opportunity to communicate regularly about Anti-Racism work offering creativity, consistency, and collaboration in messaging. There will also be some opportunities to help with SWAG, gatherings (COVID Safe) and coordination of information between Department of People & Culture, Equity Center and Marketing & Development. Learning how we develop prevention campaigns for youth and their caretakers will enhance understanding of the science of prevention frameworks inclusive of the public health perspective.

    WAYSIDE WILL DO THE WORK TO BECOME AN ANTI-RACIST, SOCIAL JUSTICE, AND ADVOCACY ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES HUMAN SERVICES TO CHILDREN AND FAMILIES.

    INTERNSHIP REQUIREMENTS:

    • Managing Social Media campaign(s) for Wayside Equity Center
    • Include Facebook/Instagram and any other appropriate sites over time.
    • Posting up to 3 times a week, managing schedule of post, managing all highlights/stories for interaction/increase followers on all SM sites.
    • Answer all messages with support from supervisors.
    • Help organize large database of content around Anti- Racism/ Anti-Oppression training within Wayside & Within Wayside Equity Training Center
    • Interface with Wayside Youth & Family Support Networks,Marketing and Communications Manager as needed
    • Report to director of Inclusion & Recruitment
