    DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES:

    This internship would provide assistance to outcomes data collection and evaluation system for Wayside Youth & Family Support Network. The student would document outcomes data (utilizing current outcomes survey instruments), training evaluation data, comparison data to previous years, client and family satisfaction data results and develop executive reports and development of executive reports. The intern will likely also assist with meeting preparation, minutes, development of reports and use of data in marketing efforts.

    The best fit is a confident self-starter who enjoys being part of a strong team, but works well independently. Clinical and or academic exposure to sociology, statistics, data collection, psychology, family work and trauma is recommended. Will accept first and second year Master’s candidates. Student must be highly organized, have good analytical ability, be proficient in the use of excel and other systems for data analysis, and be able to handle multiple tasks at one time.

    Founded in 1977, Wayside Youth & Family Support Network is a non-profit, nationally accredited human service agency headquartered in Framingham, Massachusetts dedicated to building strength, hope and resiliency in youth, families and our local communities. Wayside is one of Massachusetts’ most respected child and family serving agencies with 19 program locations across Eastern and Central Massachusetts serving more than 5,000 children, young adults and families each year. Wayside staff and clinicians provide community trainings in schools, to mental health providers and in collaboration with community partners. Wayside is a teaching and training facility that provides graduate and undergraduate students with internships and clinical placement.

    • MANDATORY MEETINGS:Supervision meetings are negotiated. Other meetings yet to be scheduled - times are flexible.
