    **$1000.00 SIGN ON BONUS**

    Starting Salary: Residential Counselor I - $15.00/hour Residential Counselor II -$18.50/hour

    Wayside Youth & Family Support Network has open positions for Residential Counselors providing support services to youth and families. Wayside provide a warm work environment with management that is team- focused and places value on healthy work dynamics.

    Tasks Milieu Work:

    • Directly supervise clients with energy & compassion
    • Participate in staff meetings with ideas, ways to create positive care for clients.
    • Facilitating recreational activities for clients that are fun and fantastic.
    • Co – creating with clients with the staff team to ensure the program structure.
    • Positive role modeling for youth.
    • Seeing every possibility in every youth and in all interactions all the time

  • Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • High School degree or equivalent required.
    • Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree preferred.

    We love if folx have any of these (but not required):

    • One year experience working in adolescent services
    • Experience with a strength-based, client-centered milieu a plus.
    • Experience with a diverse, multicultural population including
    • LGBTQ+
    • Bilingual

    We will train you in: MAP, TCI, CPR, First Aid upon hire Plus- a ton of other things like Courageous Conversations, Motivational Interviewing
