PART TIME- 20 HOUR PER WEEK POSITION SERVICE COORDINATOR position to partner with DCF in coordinating services for families involved with DCF. The position entails facilitating Family Team Meetings and service utilization reviews, involving families in decision making at those meetings, and assisting in the development of community supports for youth and families.
Responsibilities include d eveloping and maintaining excellent working relationships with DCF administration, staff in Area Office, and with the provider community. The position functions as a resource forongoing information and problem-solving within the DCF office on resource issues. Person will accept and process referrals to Family Networks and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. Requirements include Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of two years human services experience, demonstrated skills in organization, cultural competence, negotiation, and communication.
