Major Duties (Job Description)

• You will perform the contract actions listed below in support of the Center's primary C4ISR mission and other complementary core competency areas.
• You will be responsible for mentoring/training junior contract specialists.
• You will brief department senior leadership on acquisition related matters and shall be capable of holding a contracting officer warrant.
• You will be responsible for providing guidance to requirements personnel on acquisition strategies and acquisition related documents.
• You will resolve disputes.

Qualification Summary

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or NO-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience providing support to management in developing acquisition plans; source selection plans; formalize solicitations, business clearance memorandums and perform cost and price analysis; conduct cost realism analysis.
