Major Duties (Job Description)

• You will perform the contract actions listed below in support of the Center's primary C4ISR mission and other complementary core competency areas.
• You will be responsible for cost-reimbursement, fixed price and incentive pricing structures, awards from Broad Agency Announcements, Commercial Solutions Openings, Request for Quotes and formal Solicitations.
• You will develop formal solicitations; business clearance memorandums and performing cost and price analysis, as well as cost realism analysis.
• You will be providing guidance to requirements personnel on acquisition related documents.
• You will exercise options (IDIQ and completion); POP extensions; GSA Orders; Simplified acquisitions; Commercial (FAR 13.5) and non-complex contracts; Sea Port Orders; BAA awards; Assistance awards; Negotiated modifications (in and out of scope) etc.

Qualification Summary

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing contracting functions such as cost reimbursement, solicitation, negotiation, acquisition, award, and/or administration of various types of contracts; providing contracting guidance to requirements personnel on acquisition related documents.
