  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will provide supervision, oversight, and coordination for operations and business development, and manages an annual budget in excess of $7M.
    • You will develop and implements business strategies, budgets, and staffing plans.
    • You will be responsible for integrating the perspectives of project managers, division leaders, and sponsors to attain comprehensive vision and strategy.
    • You will have the ability to work directly with major sponsors (customers) including Army, USMC, Space Force, FMS, and other external stakeholders.
    • You will be able to assimilate the purpose and role of the Branch, become familiar with the Branch's personnel and their respective skills and abilities, and ultimately provide mentoring and technical guidance.
    • You will work with the other Team Leads and Division management, as necessary, to resolve personnel issues when they arise.
    • You will collaborate with other Branches and teams across the Center to grow and diversify the sponsor (customer) base within the division's five major business areas.

    Qualification Summary

    In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band NM-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing assistance for integrating the perspectives of project managers, division leaders, and/or sponsors to attain comprehensive vision and strategy; collaborating with other branches and/or teams to grow and diversify the sponsor (customer) base.
