Major Duties (Job Description)

• You will provide the expertise, resources, policy, processes and services that support the delivery/integration of new capability into new/existing platforms and the relocation/removal of capability from existing platforms.
• You will perform administrative and human resource managements functions.
• You will oversee highly complex projects and programs, provides assistance, advice, and guidance where problems exist or are developing, and make decisions on work problems and administrative proposals or requirements.
• You will determine objectives, set priorities, delegate work and manage resources for the branch.
• You will oversee procurement and contracting to achieve desired results, and build and manage a workforce based on an organization goals, budgets considerations and staffing needs.
• You will manage a branch that utilizes computer science methods and techniques, information technology support, applications development, project management planning, system design, etc.
• You will oversee or perform scientific work that involves the application of, or research into computer science methods and techniques.

Qualification Summary

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band NM-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical and project management oversight; and developing and implementing system designs; and analyzing systems and providing recommendations on ways to improve performance and efficiency; and providing general oversight and/or mentoring to engineers and/or IT specialists.
