  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will be responsible to provide technical, project management and contract oversight of/for branch projects as requested by the Division Head.
    • You will manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, and serve as a senior-level analyst, engineer, scientist, or technical specialist on technical projects.
    • You will perform and document necessary research, resulting in recommendations for employee growth and management.
    • You will maintain consistent and frequent dialogue with each employee in the branch, not only facilitating monitoring of individual performance and tasking but also identifying and assigning training.
    • You will work with designated project managers and financial managers in identifying, committing to, and managing initial and derived project requirements.
    • You will advise, administer, or perform professional engineering work to include but not limited to design, development, analysis of computer hardware, systems, software and computer architecture.
    • You will conduct research on basic mathematical principles, methods, procedures, techniques, or relationships; or developing mathematical methods to solve a variety of scientific, engineering, economic, and/or military problems.

    Qualification Summary

    In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band NM-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical and project management oversight; knowledge of Systems Engineering, C2 systems and major platforms/weapon systems that employ Tactical Data Links and applying engineering concepts to complex systems of systems architectures; knowledge of personnel management processes (i.e. hiring, promotions, awards, etc.) and assessing employees' performance.
