Major Duties (Job Description)

• You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a 200+ person Tactical Systems Division.
• You will need knowledge in workforce planning, management, architecture and infrastructure planning and development of the Division's budgets.
• You will provide oversight/management to project teams which are responsible for a wide range of current and future warfighter technologies including end-to-end systems such as Link-16 architectures etc.
• You will provide management and support for the development of Data Link Test Tools and Program of record Software Support Activity deliveries.
• You will ensure delivery of high-quality products, develop new business opportunities, and maintains relationships with customers; provides assistance, advice and, guidance in solving technical, administrative, and personnel problems.
• You will coordinate and provides expert oversight of department operations, program development, continuous process improvement, and the management and execution of production overhead.

Qualification Summary

NM-05 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band NM-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical and project management oversight; Demonstrated skills in managing a project for Tactical Data Link type projects; Knowledge of and skills in managing IT systems processes and budget; Knowledge of personnel management processes (i.e. hiring, promotions, awards, etc.) and assessing employees' performance. NM-04 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band NM-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical and project management oversight; demonstrating skills in managing a project for Tactical Data Link type projects; managing IT systems processes and budget.
