Major Duties (Job Description)

• You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Division directly supervises first line supervisors, and coordinates with the Department Deputy for Operations.
• You will provide oversight and guidance to support technical, programmatic, and administrative operations within the Division.
• You will provide direction and coordination for the Division on operationally related matters under the guidance of the Division Head.
• You will work closely with the Division Head on implementing Division strategic and tactical actions. The work involves direct interface with all members of the Division staff and first line supervisors.

Qualification Summary

NM-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Supporting process improvement activities; collect and analyze data for use in the management and direction of programs; implement established policies and procedures. NM-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading process improvement activities and Center-level efforts; establish metrics for use in the management and direction of programs; analyze and/or evaluate proposed changes in policies and procedures. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
