Major Duties (Job Description)

• You will provide technical and supervisory leadership for branch engineers, scientists, technicians, and administrative specialists who provide Systems Engineering (SE) support to Programs of Record (PORs).
• You will serve as focal point in the branch, applies knowledge and experience in scientific and/or engineering principles and project management in the subject-matter or functional area for resolution of problems and development.
• You will support systems engineering, Design/production/maintenance of fielded systems, Hardware/ software configuration and management, Software development, TCPED/Cyber Security requirements, and Interoperability Certifications.
• You will participate in development and execution of short-term, mid-term, and long-term strategies to market NIWC Pacific products and services in the area of space systems and ISR applications.
• You will advise, administer, supervise, or perform professional and scientific work focused on the design, development and adaptation of mathematical, statistical, and other scientific methods and techniques to analyze problems.

Qualification Summary

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band NM-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
