Major Duties (Job Description)

• You will serve as supervisor supporting the Navy in the Fleet Modernization and Installation Division, supervising a diverse workforce of Information Technology (IT) Specialists, technicians and engineers.
• You will manage the Branch day-to-day administrative operations and assume the role of the STRL Rating Official for all employees assigned.
• You will support Command initiatives focused on improving business and operations policies and implement best practices; participate and lead Center and Department initiatives as requested by senior leadership.
• You will work closely with the Division Deputy of Operations and Division Head on implementing Division, Department and Center strategic and tactical action plans.

Qualification Summary

NM-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Assist in providing guidance in personnel actions such as hiring/performance issues. Assist in developing policies for department staffing, facilities, safety, security, information assurance and/or other administrative activities necessary to ensure efficient and consistent implementation of higher-level requirements NM-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Providing guidance in personnel actions such as hiring/performance issues.
