  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will provide supervision, technical leadership, planning, program development, business development, coordination, and management of all aspects of the projects, personnel, and facilities assigned to the Branch.
    • You will develop technical proposals, preparing and giving technical presentations to sponsors, potential customers, and technical audiences both inside and outside NIWC Pacific.
    • You will execute a variety of functions that facilitates a wide range of Information Management (IM) and Information Technology (IT) issues.
    • You will provide advice and recommendations on IM and IT task performance.
    • You will interpret and apply IM, IT, and Cyber policies, processes and guidelines.
    • You will conduct analyses and recommend resolutions to network services issues and prepare and present various reports.
    • You will oversee the development, testing, evaluation, operation, maintenance, installation, and removal of IM and IT systems.

    Qualification Summary

    Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band NM-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing and enforcing all software and interface requirements allocation processes and change control as appropriate for their associated Software/Hardware Engineering projects that support Nuclear Command, Control and Communications-Navy (NC3-N) systems, U.S. Navy Messaging Systems, and other communication or messaging systems. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
