Membership Intern
The Membership Department at the Petersen seeks to activate visitor interest in philanthropy by offering various benefits to members that not only promote the educational focus of the museum, but also highlight the museum’s offerings and how member support plays a crucial role to the Petersen’s success. Members at the Petersen offer support through ideas, engagement, and donations to help keep the Petersen as the center of automotive thought in California.
The Membership Intern will have the unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience in each step of the membership cultivation process from researching the museum’s audience, activating visitor interest, cultivating new members, communication outreach to past and present Petersen members, fulfilling memberships, all the way through maintaining membership databases.
