  • Responsibilities

    The Accounting Intern supports and reports to the AP Associate & Associate Manager of Accounting responsible for Accounts Payable and Grants.

    Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Enter invoices by batch into the Accounting Software System Fund E-Z (FEZ).
    • Review and code employee T&E reports, which are then entered by batch into FEZ.
    • File all paid invoices
    • Scan and Upload in FEZ – W9, Grant Contracts, 501c3, and Vendor Contracts
    • Provide Copies of Invoices Upon Request
    • Process Grant Payment Requests (via Check or ACH)
    • Update Grant Management System (Sugar/Salesforce) with grant payment information
    • Assist Finance with Special Projects
  • Qualifications
    • Candidate is working on a degree or has prior Accounting or bookkeeping experience.
    • Excel skills are needed.
    • Position requires a person who is detailed oriented, has strong clerical skills and can work independently with little supervision.
    • This person must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
