  • About Us

Inspired by Jewish values and ideas, the Kings Bay YM/YWHA strives to build and strengthen communities, create meaningful relationships and lasting friendships, and foster deeper connections among individuals, families, and partner institutions in Brooklyn. As a Jewish Community Center and a beneficiary agency of UJA-Federation of New York, we do that by serving the Sheepshead Bay, Marine Park, Homecrest, Midwood, Manhattan Beach, Bergen Beach and Mill Basin neighborhoods of Brooklyn through our 3 physical sites. In addition, through our two newest branches, we serve the Kensington, Park Slope and Windsor Terrace neighborhoods of Brownstone Brooklyn and we serve children and families in North Williamsburg and Greenpoint in North Brooklyn. Additionally, the Y will soon establish a Jewish Family life pop up center serving the Fort Greene and Clinton Hill neighborhoods of Brownstone Brooklyn, expanding our presence there.
