    ChildFund International is seeking a Data Analyst to help support our Fundraising and Engagement Division’s marketing and supporter engagement priorities.  The ideal candidate is curious, proactive, adaptable, organized, and adept at learning new tools and technologies to transform raw information into actionable campaigns and business insights.

    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

    Reporting

    • Develops and produces routine and ad hoc reports and dashboards
    • Develops reporting and training for end-users (donor look-up, query building) and may deliver training to individuals / groups
    • Develops queries and report templates to support organizational objectives

    Analysis

    • Executes qualitative and quantitative data gathering and analysis to uncover business insights to support F&E objectives
    • Conducts research projects from design phase through implementation
    • Continues to revise and improve strategies

    Database Management

    • Serves as a resource for data management system including functionality and end-user support
    • Develops plans and builds queries, campaign data files and technical support on data fields / indices / derived values
    • Conducts regular data audits to improve data quality
    • Coordinates with IT department and other operational groups to ensure data quality

    Marketing Campaign Support and Analysis

    • Serves as an analytical focal point on marketing campaigns
    • Pulls campaign data files using Alterian and Salesforce
    • Documents specifications and programming for all campaigns
    • Works with internal departments and mail shops to review data requirements and files
    • Produces and presents follow-up reporting and analysis on campaigns
    • Other Duties as Assigned

    **QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE        **

    • 2-5 years of experience in an analytical role or equivalent education experience
    • Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel; Experience with Salesforce and Power BI a plus
    • Aptitude to learn and interest in learning other statistical and quantitative analysis tools
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, and an ability to learn quickly
    • Excellent consultative and troubleshooting skills
    • A strong commitment to quality and accuracy
    • Strong organizational and priority-setting abilities
    • Excellent written and presentation skills
    • Knowledge of industry best practices, including digital and web analytics, a plus

    EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in statistics, business, marketing, economics, or related field.  Master’s degree a plus.
