  • Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Wellness Coordinator (RN), the Nurse Assistant is responsible for the health and wellness of the campers and staff.

    This position provides support to the Wellness Coordinator in the execution and running of the Wellness Program and the Wellness Center. This is a residential position that includes full onsite housing and meals.

    Key Responsibilities Include:

    • Providing first aid and assessing staff and campers for routine conditions.

    • Administering routine medications and treatments as indicated by THCF nursing protocols.

    • Maintain staff and camper health files including health history, patient consultation reports, daily medication administration, and treatment records.

    • Execute THCF health screening for arriving and departing campers.

    • Keeping track of stock used, ordering supplies, and stocking first aid kits.

    • Promote health practices throughout the camp and act as a positive role model to young campers.

  • Qualifications

    We are looking for amazing staff who are experienced in working with youth, preferably in an outdoor setting and have strong facilitation skills, diverse life experiences and a genuine interest in the personal growth and development of young people.

    Qualified staff are at least in their third year of nursing school.
