Our phone canvass works to develop our members into activists and long-term investors in our advocacy work. Our members are critical for shifting policy, electing environmental champions, and creating lasting change to protect our water resources in MN and the US. Callers are trained on our campaigns and gain experience in organizing, environmental activism, politics, non-profit work, and fundraising. Prior work in any or all of these ares will support success in this position, but are not required. We have an excellent training program and offer many benefits including union membership, paid time off, advancement opportunities, 401K, health, and dental insurance for staff even at part-time hours. Hourly pay is a guaranteed base of $12.50 and everyone on staff is eligible for bonus. Training shifts are evenings (3:30-8:15 pm), with more flexible hours and some day and Saturday opportunities on staff. Schedules are set weekly--by you!
