Disability Partnerships is a Maryland-based nonprofit organization dedicated to the mission of improving the quality of life of individuals with physical disabilities. One of our primary objectives is to significantly increase the availability of affordable, accessible housing for disabled individuals both locally and nationally.

The content writing intern will be instrumental in developing compelling web content, blog postings, social media copy and media articles aimed at significantly increasing the number of affordable, accessible housing units for individuals with disabilities.

We’re looking for someone who will help us expand our digital footprint and drive more value through online content. This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write better material.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Create content for social media marketing campaigns to generate awareness of our programs and activities and increase traffic to the Disability Partnerships website
• Regularly produce various content types, including email, social media posts, blogs and white papers
• Collaborate with other team members to create innovative content ideas

Content Writer qualifications and skills

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Masters degree in English, Journalism or related field
• Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
