• Counselors are responsible for campers 22 hours a day.

• They live in cabins, help campers ready for the day, eat with them at meals, & lead them in activities.

• Counselors get 2 one hour breaks a day & one night a week.

• Campers are at camp from Sunday- Friday, counselors then have the weekends off before another group arrives on Sunday.

• During training, counselors are certified in Red Cross First Aid & CPR, as well as training in all of our camp activities.

Applicants must be 19 years of age or one year out of high school.

Catholic Youth Camp is Minnesota's only Catholic Resident camp. Located on Big Sandy Lake in McGregor, MN, CYC offers one week programs for students who have completed 1st grade- high school. CYC offers a variety of traditional camp activities in a atmosphere that makes faith fun! Counselors work with a different co-counselor every week & a cabin of 12 campers.
