Conducts assessments, tracks data and participates in committees and meetings to receive, review and report information on student and program development and progress.
Maintains procedures for tracking student performance and program outcomes.
Develops lesson plans, prepares materials and areas, and solicits/manages resources.
Establishes and communicates objectives for all enrichment activities in consult with stakeholders, including students, parents, staff, partners and other community members.
Meets with parents, students, and staff to discuss student progress and to determine priorities for advancing student achievement.
Observes and evaluates student performance, behavior and/or social development and advises directors and staff of actions recommended.
Demonstrates the ability to lead, facilitate, communicate with diverse groups of people.
Participates in and facilitates orientations, training, and retreats as needed/required.

Instruction
Provides homework assistance and tutoring for students, assigning, training and supervising education staff, interns and volunteers.
Instructs students individually and/or in groups, adapting lessons and teaching methods to meet students' varying needs and interests.
Assists students who need extra help by tutoring and developing and implementing intervention activities.
Promotes college readiness by encouraging students to explore and use skills including critical thinking, collaboration, communication and creative expression.
Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree in education or educational leadership preferred, a related degree may be considered
Experience: Minimum three years experience teaching classes and/or providing tutoring in basic and/or advanced academic subjects for school-age youth, minimum two years administering academic enrichment programs for school-age youth
Skills
Excellent instructional skills and abilities in math and language arts for grades 3-12
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build relationships with teams and supporters
Demonstrated ability to develop programs, including lesson planning and evaluation
Proficient in producing and editing Word documents and other computer operations
Independent problem solver with positive outlook and caring demeanor
Ability to manage, produce and solicit resources
