We have been given the opportunity to be a part of a state-wide collaborative effort between Child Placing Agencies, the BGCT, and other churches to make significant strides forward in the foster care crisis in Texas.

Basic Overview:

Intern applicant can do work remotely and is not required to be located in a particular city. Hours are flexible, depending on availability and course requirements.

• Develop and implement a social media campaign in support of the Faith Fosters Texas initiative in addition to data input on FFTwebsite
• Develop social media collateral specific to FFT. Should be versed in social media platforms as well as canva or similar program
• Create and monitor constant contact email campaigns
• Have an understanding of social media analytics and how to promote to achieve maximum efficiency

Objective:

This position will serve in support of Faith Fosters Texas, a collaborative in Texas whose objective is to bridge the gap between the faith-based community and the child welfare system in Texas.

• Experience creating, marketing, and implementing social media campaigns
• Opportunity to work on a multi-faceted team to achieve state wide impact on behalf of vulnerable children
• Opportunity to network with leaders across the state in the field of child welfare
