About Childhood Cancer Society
Childhood Cancer Society (CCS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial and emotional support to families battling pediatric cancer. Through wish grants, direct family assistance, corporate partnerships, and high-impact fundraising events, we work to create extraordinary experiences for children and families facing some of life’s most difficult challenges.
Adventure Ted, our superhero spokesbear, represents our philosophy to “See the adventure in all that you do.”
We are seeking ambitious, resourceful, outgoing, and entrepreneurial students to join our team and gain hands-on experience in fundraising, corporate outreach, partnership development, and major event execution.

You might be a great fit if you enjoy meeting new people, communicating with businesses, developing creative solutions, and pursuing opportunities that require persistence and follow-through.
The strongest candidates won’t simply wait for assignments. They will be excited to take on challenges such as identifying potential donors, securing auction contributions, developing corporate relationships, and helping bring fundraising initiatives to life.
This is not primarily a social media or content creation internship. While communication and marketing skills are valuable, the central focus is building partnerships, securing fundraising support, and contributing to successful charitable events.
