Internship for Current Students
The P.E.A.R.L. Institute is currently seeking self-motivated individuals for the spring, summer or fall terms. The internship focuses on various facets of the institute depending on interest; these include organizational nonprofit management, public relations, research, training coordination, web design/management and grant writing. The position will allow individuals to explore the cross-cultural links between the United States and Asian Pacific countries. It also focuses on Chinese bilingual and cross-cultural curriculum development.
The work location will be at downtown Manhattan in New York City and you will be sharing the office with other interns as well.
The Pacific, Education, Research, and Learning Institute (P.E.A.R.L. Institute) of New York Inc., is a non-profit organization in New York City, was initially established as a non-profit organization in San Diego, California in 1993 by a group of professionals with a strong commitment to address the social policy as well as human service needs of individuals and families from different cultural backgrounds. The institute is dedicated to integrating Eastern and Western cultures and promoting optimal policy and service outcomes for the U.S. and Pacific Rim populations. The institute is committed to the education, advocacy, research and dissemination of information that functions in providing culturally competent social work practice and other related human services programs.
