Invasive Species STRIKE Team Intern

  • Responsibilities

    Primary job duties include:

    • Treatment of invasive species through herbicide and mechanical methods (80%)
    • Collect and manage invasive treatment data (10%)
    • Utilize GIS/GPS applications (10%)

    Other job duties may include:

    • Assist with environmental education programs
    • Complete wildlife surveys
    • Complete grassland inventories
    • Assist with fencing and/or other maintenance on refuges lands

    A typical work week will generally be Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM, 40 hours per week. Occasional weekend work may be requested but will not be required. Intern will receive time off for all federal holidays.
